We’re excited to partner with a global leader in handheld mobile computing and  Automatic Data Capture, seeking a Channel Account Manager for the upper Midwest.

The Channel Account Manager will recruit, enable and develop partnerships with re-sellers of data collection solutions within the assigned geography based upon an agreed target account list.  Individual is responsible for the overall revenue growth of their targeted partners along with the addition of new partners to the partner program.  Additionally, individual is responsible for supporting their assigned partners and their end-use customers to drive revenue, resolve issues and maintain the highest levels of integrity and service within our overall customer base.
Main responsibilities:
  • Enable and develop assigned partner accounts in order to achieve assigned sales and MBO targets.
  • Establish and manage executive level relationships with assigned re-sellers to insure strategic and tactical alignment and  successful execution of an annual business plan.
  • Develop annual business plans with assigned partners and conduct quarterly business reviews to insure execution to plan.
  • Work closely with marketing and distribution partners to execute business development initiatives in order to meet or exceed partner business plan objectives.
  • Insure all assigned partners are fully trained (sales & technical) and have made necessary investments in the company.
  • Develop and maintain understanding of individuals re-sellers business model, plans and solutions and effectively communicate within the organization.
  • Interact with all organizations within the partner ecosystem and their downstream customers within their assignment to support the successful deployment and continued support of company’s products and services.
  • Recruit , enable and develop new partners in order to drive revenue growth and meet corporate and/or regional strategic objectives.
  • Deploy, manage and support the partner program within the individuals account assignment.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the AIDC or related industry.
  • Individual should have experience and working understanding of the retail environment. 
  • Individual should have experience in some or all the following areas: bar code scanning, mobile computing, wireless technology (Wi-Fi, WLAN, Bluetooth), industrial automation. 
  • Experienced in managing re-seller partners to include business plan development, contract execution and general partner relationship management.
  • This position is home-based and requires travel to the assigned geographical area approximately 60% of the time. 
 EDUCATION (SCHOOL/SPECIALIZATION): Bachelor’s Degree  (BA/BS) in business, economics, marketing, or other related degree from an accredited University.
