We have a new Manufacturing Engineer opportunity in the Dayton OH area with a leading manufacturing and assembly company with a long standing reputation.  The Manufacturing Engineer will plan, design, and support manufacturing processes in the plant. He/she will also maximize efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization.

Job Responsibilities of Manufacturing Engineer:   
** Create, implement, maintain and improve capable production processes, methods and sequences to achieve safety, quality, throughput and cost targets. 
**  Develop and maintain production standards using work measurement techniques such as time/motion studies, work content studies, and line-balancing.
**  Analyze production costs to identify and implement improvement efforts.
**  Conduct make vs buy evaluations to identify cost reduction opportunities
**  Creates and maintains manufacturing documentation as required by the various operating procedures
**   Work with Production Associates and Manufacturing Supervisors to identify, prioritize, and quickly resolve potential safety and ergonomic risks in the manufacturing process to insure a safe work environment.
Qualifications Required for Manufacturing Engineer:
**  Bachelor Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering required
**  Minimum of 3 yrs experience in similar role and environment
**  Proficient in use of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
**  Progressive and proven experience with Lean principles and continuous improvement skills
**  Proven problem solving skills
**  Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment
**  Ability to work independently and self-motivated
