ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Primary responsibilities include product support of our industrial welding power sources, wire feeders, and related accessories.
  • Work closely with the Engineering team, Operations, Product Management, Customer Service, and our end users to improve current products and assure customer satisfaction.
  • New development and upgrades/enhancements with hardware and software design activities including: system architecture, component selection, schematic layout and assembly, troubleshooting, compliance testing and documentation, and manufacturing support
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related field required.
  • 3-5 years of industry experience.
  • Proficiency with hardware and software design activities including: system architecture, component selection, schematic layout and assembly, troubleshooting, compliance testing and documentation, and manufacturing support
  • Experience with circuit modeling/simulation tools.
  • Understanding of PCB layout and PCB manufacturing processes.
  • Must be able to work effectively as an individual or in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated individual with solid communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Limited travel may be required.
 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Familiarity with CSA, NEC, IEC, ISO 9001 and UL specifications
  • Has attained, or is willing to attain CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or related certification in quality engineering principles
  • Experience with data collecting, monitoring, and analytics
  • Experience with supplier quality traceability and verification processes
