We have an excellent opportunity with a long-time client that offers location flexibility!  We are looking for someone that has experience in manufacturing and industrial sales and has the passion, hunger and drive to grow a territory.  This position will allow you to maintain an account base (80%) and develop business through prospecting (20%). The ideal candidate will be a driven self-starter, highly motivated and comfortable working with limited supervision while delivering results in a fast-paced environment. You have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and interact comfortably with customers and outside partners at all levels.  
Key Performance Areas:
  • Deliver value added solutions that meet expectations and demands to new customers and existing accounts
  • Prospect for new customers and open new accounts for Rotary cutters and support and grow existing can tooling accounts in order to meet sales objectives
  • Technical understanding in order to be flexible and learn new product segments
  • Keep current on competitor activities in order to develop your sales strategy
  • Grow sales and profitability for the Company
  • Identify opportunities and deliver results
  • Keep abreast of customer needs regarding price, delivery and product offerings in order to best serve the customer and obtain the most business for the company
  • Meet established goals for product sales
Candidate Profile:
  • Highly organized, self-motivated and with the ability and interest to cultivate relationships at all  existing and potential customer locations
  • Able to handle rejection
  • Hold an Associate’s degree in a technical discipline; and/or a BA/BS business degree in a related field; or equivalent experience in a technical sales position or an industrial background
  • Must have a well-developed ability to prioritize, follow up and close sales orders
  • Recognize that cultivating partnerships with our customers and delivering solutions that meet their current and future demands is essential to continued growth and success
