National Sales Manager

If you are a strategic and experienced National Sales Manager, we have a phenomenal opportunity for you with an industry leading global manufacturer in Ann Arbor MI.   The primary responsibility of the National Accounts Sales Manager is to develop sales strategies to meet revenue and growth targets within key accounts. Implement and utilize analytics to track sales trends and identify opportunities for growth. Conceptualize digital marketing initiatives, analyze data and measure results.  Responsible for the development, implementation and management of all aspects of WalMart sales, category management and marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities of National Sales Manager:
  • Develop national sales strategies with key accounts to meet revenue and growth targets
  • Implement and utilize analytics to track sales trends and identify opportunities for growth
  • Conceptualize digital marketing initiatives, analyze data and measure results
  • Partner with brand owners to leverage all marketing opportunities on Amazon
  • Create and manage product descriptions for online marketplace platforms
  • Create new opportunities with national accounts, identifying white space and marketing opportunities to generate sales
  • Build trusting and proven relationships based on delivery results to customers to be recognized as a premium supplier
  • Conduct extensive online research, while understanding marketing and sales strategies from all major national retailers and company competitors
  • Actively participate in scheduled internal weekly/monthly SOP meetings, preparing in advance to share relevant and beneficial information
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product Development and Management to ensure the very best assortment to the customer 
 
Requirements for National Sales Manager:
  • 5+ years national account/key account experience in a consumer goods industry
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Prior experience with WalMart preferred 
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and be a good listener
  • Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment
