Meet and exceed individual sales quota & the area sales quota as the team leader
Responsible for developing strong relationships with the leaders of the channel partners and direct global accounts in the United States and Canada
Accurately manage team forecast demand on a monthly basis & effectively communicate to corporate leadership team
Responsible for managing and coaching NA commercial team on all account development activities including account strategy development, execution and management; ongoing communication of value proposition; price and profitability management; initiation and involvement with RFP responses, where applicable.
Manage interface between global corporate accounts in your region and company leadership
Identify and engage with key decision makers and other stakeholders
Work with commercial team to develop standardization programs tied to sustainability for customers within North America territory
Work with Vice President of Global Accounts to coordinate activities at accounts with multilocation facilities with sales team
Maintain a robust and up-to-date opportunity pipeline in CRM, Individual and Team
Work with customers and the electric utilities to identify and capture any available rebates and continue to develop and promote rebates.
Provide competitive market and account info and intelligence to enhance product offering
Required Skills / Abilities:
Strong leadership and communication skills to develop the region and lead a direct sales team as well as that of our channel partners.
Demonstrate ability to maintain and grow senior-level customer relationships across multiple customer functional areas such as Sustainability, Sourcing, Research, Facilities, etc.
Strategic selling, negotiating, and project management skills. Understand customers business drivers and priorities and map sales strategies to meet these needs. Must also possess the ability to teach these skills to your team and mentor them.
Ability to manage the team to success and provide structure, guidance, coaching and correction

Excellent communication, project management and presentation skills
Ability to travel extensively throughout the territory
Knowledge of our product portfolio and ability to articulate unique value proposition
Proficient with standard business productivity tools and mobile application extensions of such including SFDC
A passion for life sciences and a track record of sales management success in related fields
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or related field
10+ years selling success in related products or industries.
5+ years leading sales teams as a manager
Experience with distribution selling as well as managing direct customers
Laboratory, research or pharma production experience
Ability and willingness to travel extensively, depending on base location (50-70%)
