AT3 Staffing is proud to partner with the world’s leading commercial appliance manufacturer in seeking a Product Specialist in the Western U.S. This Global company is over 100 years old and continues to grow and evolve. They have continued to add innovative asset tracking and mobile applications to their equipment to meet the evolving needs of their customers.
This position has been created to support this evolution, and to assist both sales their clients in implementing IoT and mobile technology into their machines. It is a work-from-home role, with roughly 50% travel to client’s throughput the western US and mountain states. It calls for a unique blend of sales, marketing, and technical support abilities.
Works with marketing & sales team to introduce cloud and app-based technology products (cloud and app based) to distributors and commercial laundromat owners.
Help drive sales opportunities - communicate value proposition of technology products and conduct technology demos.
Assist in onboarding customers. Work with software support team on post installation support and training issues. Identify opportunities for additional training
Gather competitive intelligence - work with equipment distributors and sales representatives to learn about other companies’ products.
Conduct marketing support and research - make sure technology products are described accurately (marketing/training - technical writer/training material)
Receive feedback from owners and users- track requests, priority levels, voice of customer, feature requests
5+ years software sales engineering, sales support, or pre-sales background
Background integrating new technologies into mechanical products-ideally commercial appliances.
Experience in manufacturing IoT, M2M, Mobile App Development
Must have great communication skills-sales acumen, ability to spot problems and opportunities to solve them with technology.
Willingness to travel 50% throughout the western US.
